In a post on the Magic Music forums, C33 identified the artists of these tracks as the Paris Musette. I can confirm that these tracks come from at least two compilations, both titled The Music of France. The two compilations I used to identify track names were issued in 2000 and 2003.

In another post on the Magic Music forums, FRANçOIS, who worked at Bistro de Paris when it opened, informed us that the restaurant originally had no background music.
