Based on two live recordings from 1974, it appears the original PeopleMover on-board music consisted of "The Monorail Song" and "Nation on Wheels," released on Disneyland Forever as "Disneyland Monorail - Monorail Song."
As per the Progressland and sds910 in the Disneyland Forever liner notes: "When the Disneyland-Alweg Monorail System made its debut in 1959, the first tune (a Buddy Baker composition) became its television signature theme - hence the association and the name. It was not used at the park at that time. The second tune was written by George Bruns for the 'Magic Highway U.S.A.' episode and was utilized as background music on the PeopleMover cars between 1967 and 1976. It's likely the DLF producers didn't notice the appearance of 'Nation on Wheels' in this recording."
